Thorin Oakenshield Fanart For the Kiddo

My older son underwent a minor surgery and had to stay at home for a few days. As a motherly instinct, I felt need to over-coddle him. So one of the presents I gave him is this drawing of Thorin Oakenshield, printed on a t-shirt.

On the making of this drawing: 

1) I studied a screen capture from The Hobbit AUJ for gesture reference. I couldn't find the exact pose that I wanted to draw, so I used my new knowledge from illustration classes to draw a gesture from a different angle.

 2) I battled with coloring the thing (...), and decided to lasso every part and paint bucket it, adding highlight and shadow later on a different layer.

3) The background picture for the text is actually a painting of the Lonely Mountain I made a few months ago. I didn't want to use any copyrighted material.

Battle of The Five Armies

ראיתי את הסרט ב IMAX, אפקטים מדהימים אבל מעט מאוד סצנות משמעותיות מבחינת דיאלוגים. ריצ'ארד ארמיטאג' משחק מדהים וכל הקטעים איתו באמת יפים, אבל זה בעיקרון סרט אפקטים מאוד מרשים.
אני יותר מקצת מאוכזבת.
בכל מקרה, איורים:

אימוני ג'סצ'ר על סצנת מארב האורקים (אחת האהובות עליי) מ"ההוביט 1".

איור מהיר שהפך למפלצת

ציירתי ג'סצ'ר והשתעממתי מהאתר שמריץ לך תמונות סתמיות שתצייר. אז ציירתי ג'סצ'ר של דברים מעניינים (...) ונתקעתי על התמונה הזאת. לקח לי יום שלם וכמה תיקונים מאסיביים (הפרופורציות יצאו לא נכונות בין הראש לטורסו), והנה התוצאה הסופית. ריצ'ארד ארמיטאג' (ת'ורין) בטקס קבלת הפנים באתר הצילומים של ההוביט בניו זילנד.
זה הרפרנס:

יש עדיין כמה נקודות שמציקות לי ואני לא מצליחה לתקן, אבל נראה לי שלהפעם מספיק. בסוף לא ישאר דף מרוב מחיקות...

מרטין פרימן, הידוע בתור בילבו באגינס. משום מה היה לי קל  יותר לצייר אותו מאשר האובייקט הקבוע שלי, ריצ'ארד ארמיטאג'.

לקח לי כמה שעות לצייר, ורק בסוף ראיתי שפיקששתי את העין השמאלית שלו ואני לא יכולה לתקן :,(
